Lauren Beale
President

Lauren is in her third year of study as a Business Economics Major and Accounting Minor. In the coming years, she aspires to earn her CPA license, gain work experience with a public accounting firm, and pursue a Masters of Business Administration. Her hobbies include reading classic literature and playing piano.  Thrilled to have this opportunity to serve UCLA’s talented body of accounting students for the 2008 calendar year, Lauren looks forward to building successful working relationships with peers, faculty advisors, and members of the professional community.

Brandon Watkins
Director of Firm Events

Brandon is a second year student currently pursuing a Business Economics major with a minor in Accounting.  He plans to obtain an MBA upon graduating from UCLA and aspires to work for a Big Four accounting firm.  Brandon’s hobbies include wakeboarding, snowboarding, golf, and playing beach volleyball in his hometown of Huntington Beach, California.

Rob McGrorty
Director of Speakers Program

Rob is a third year Economics Major with a minor in Accounting. His future goals include earning his CPA license and working at one of the great accounting firms across the country. Rob also has goals to set new personal records in the Half-Marathon and traveling around the world to do so. He is a Resident Assistant on campus and in his free time, enjoys working on cars, listening to a wide variety of music, and running.

Carrie Arboleda
Director of Special Events

Carrie is a third year History Major also pursuing an Accounting Minor. She plans to pursue a career in accounting and hopefully in the future, law. She currently works at a real estate investment and development company and plays tennis with the recreation center. In her free time, she also loves to water-ski, snowboard, sail and try new foods.

Ryan Beckman
Director of Newsletter & Website

Ryan is a fourth year student majoring in Business-Economics with a minor in Accounting.  After graduation, he hopes to begin working with one of the accounting firms in the Los Angeles area.  Ryan spent his third year studying abroad at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, where he spent his time mastering the Japanese language and gaining an understanding of business and commerce from an international perspective.  In his free time, Ryan enjoys snowboarding, dancing, and the culinary arts.

Kristen Park
Director of Membership

Kristen is a second year student pursuing a Business Economics degree with a minor in Accounting. She hops to become a Certified Public Accountant and work for a Big Four Firm. Kristen loves to bake cookies, travel, read, and watch Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, and Deal or No Deal.

Kimia Ghalambor
Director of Publicity

Kimia is a third year Business-Economics student, minoring
in Accounting and French.  She plans to earn her CPA license and
pursue a career in tax or audit.  She is originally from Louisiana,
has studied at the London School of Economics and also Rome for one
semester, and enjoys international travel in her spare time.  She has
played classical violin for sixteen years.

Allyson Benas

Allyson is a third year business economics major and accounting/Spanish minor. Ally hopes to become a business leader in the international arena.  In her free time, Ally enjoys dancing, Tae-Bo, traveling and outlet shopping.

Avani Oswal
Treasurer

Avani is a third year at UCLA studying Business Economics with a minor in Accounting. She plans to start with an accounting firm after she graduates. She enjoys being a Resident Assistant in Hedrick Hall where she gets the opportunity to help freshman transition to college and have a great first year. She also loves to dance during her free time.
